Summer.
One of the most freeing and also terrifying words in the English language (along with giblets, green, and screeching which all make me cringe and clench my teeth for reasons I am unaware of). Every summer I countdown the days until I can stay up late catching up on the new releases on Netflix and then sleep late into the morning with only the sound of the air conditioning to bother me. However at the end of every summer I end up looking back with dismay on the days that I could have filled with adventures. Being a few states over for school means I am only home for Christmas and summer and so I lose a lot of valuable time with my family. This summer, although I have been saying this for many summer pasts, I wish to make it different from the past ones.
Legendary.
What this summer will be. Hopefully. And if it isn't I always have next year.
1. Continue Geocaching
2. See as many bands as possible at Warped Tour (This has been on my summer list every summer and it will continue to be for the rest of my life for as long as I can attend Warped Tour.)
3. Hiking
4. Learn some more sign language that the measly amount I already know
5. Upload some more videos to youtube and become kind of known
6. Learn to play the ukulele better since my guitar is trapped at Baylen's for the summer
7. Disney movie marathon with Becca. Substantial amounts of candy must be consumed or it doesn't count
8. Pinterest crafts
9. Learn 10 new words and use them
10. Catch up on my shows and rewatch some I have finished
11. Re-learn how to skateboard
12. Learn some new hairstyles and makeup styles (pinterest anybody?)
13. Learn the single ladies choreography
14. Complete every single workout from my school softball workout program
15. Yoga
16. Zumba
17. Fill a coloring book
18. Re-read books
19. Read at least 30 new books
20. Run in a sprinkler
21. Have a water balloon fight
22. Learn the handshake from the Parent Trip
23. Clean out my room
24. Make a summer '14 playlist
25. Say yes to everything for a day
26. Do GISHWHES again
27. Go to the beach
28. Go to the zoo
29. Go on a treasure hunt
30. Go on a scavenger hunt
31. Send lots and lots of letters
